The Municipality of Peralillo becomes the first area in South America to replace it’s complete Street lighting system with Envirolights.

Having been badly damaged by the 8.8. earthquake last year the community is slowly re-building itself .  The old inefficient lighting system gave the residents no feeling of security and a very low level of lighting making the streets and sideroads dangerous for pedestrians and cyclists.
The immediate effects have been a 3 fold increase in the amount of light on the ground, a huge increase in visibility in real colours at night and an incredible saving of over 60% on the energy bill.
